Manifesto

DIVERGENCE is a point of convergence. Focusing on the force of intersections, individual and collective histories coincide to create a plural community. Founded by Patsy Clark, DIVERGENCE takes root in queer culture, celebrating the freak, the outsider and underground cultures. Born in the backstreets of London and flourishing in Europe, DIVERGENCE takes queerness, and the marginalisation that ensues, as a starting point to come together on common questions, of race, gender, disability. DIVERGENCE collaborates with a network of creatives, collectives and studios in the fashion and music industries working on social realities and on representation of minorities. DIVERGENCE focuses on underground cultures, talking about our lives, our narratives, our society. The question of queerness unites creatively, bringing together individuals working on video, photo, style. DIVERGENCE collaborates with a network of creatives, collectives and studios in the fashion and music industries working on social realities and on representation of minorities.
